One of the ones that seems rather inconsequential but has led to some odd issues is moving the aux jack from the left side, which is standard for most headsets that only have one cable, to the right. With improved spatial audio, you can’t just reverse them and get it to work right. And Meta has not updated their sound settings to allow for you to swap them. Further, the Bluetooth is pretty laggy even with the most recent updates.This head set has the jack for optional wiring on the right side. I replaced the cord that came with it with an 8 in cable and then tested it with a DTS surround sound YouTube video before testing it with any games. Sound is great and they are really comfortable. Plus, if Meta can get the Bluetooth firmware lag fixed, I can pair these with it. Win-win situation.

[...]I bought them for an elderly lady who wanted to listen to music without bluetooth. So I bought her these and they work. But they are sensitive and the sound is low and the bluetooth makes it sound lower. The mic doesn’t pick up sound as well as I’d like but they are for music. The cord does not support 3 prong mic ports just the two prong sound only so the mic only works on bluetooth. The battery lasts at least a 3 hour plane ride. Hinges are not very durable so putting them away too often will eventually break the hinges. The rose color she loved it and made her smile. Not bad not great but worth it the only complaint is the file type. I had to rip off cds into mp3 and use old windows media player to make a playlist that would play in sequence otherwise it was random.

[...]I needed new headphones, .ones I could wear at the gym. I decided to get Bluetooth ones because working out with headphones tethered to my audio source — my cell phone — was awkward. I was skeptical of a BT device, though, because my previous experience persuaded me that the technology really wasn’t ready for prime time — too many dropped connections and needing to re-pair, plus unstable volume, etc.Anyway, I am very glad I got these. No problems (so far) with pairing and maintaining the connection. And the audio is excellent in my opinion. Between the controls on my phone and the controls on the headphones themselves, I have more volume at my fingertips than I need. Now, most of my listening is to podcasts, but the little bit of music I’ve listened to sounded fine. The noise cancelling effect of these ‘phones is not 100%, but that’s OK. They cut out or drastically minimize most of the ambient noise at the gym, including the annoying music playing over the gym’s speakers.I’m also impressed with how long they hold a charge. After 3 hours at the gym they are still going strong. I also take them on my daily 2-hour walks and have no worries that they will cut out during that time. I do like the fact that they come with a cable I can use in the event the BT drops.Their range is surprising, too. Once I left my phone at one of the weight machines and got all the way to my car before I realized I didn’t have it, because the sound in the headphones was still strong and stable.Some of the features seem like overkill, in that I will probably never use them, but whatever … some people may appreciate them. I’m thinking of the FM radio and the memory card slot. I just don’t see myself fiddling with all the tiny controls to get anything out of them.They are pretty comfortable, too, up to a point. I find that after a couple of hours I feel one or both cups pressing too hard against my skull, but adjusting them usually helps ameliorate this. They’re on the bulky side compared to what most others at my gym are wearing, but I could never get used to earbuds or anything less than full headphones; the bud-type things keep falling out of my ear canals.Despite my minor nitpicks, I give these 5 stars. They are better than what I dared hope, and for a reasonable price.
