    Great Projector, Bad Speakers
If you’re looking for a quick and relatively affordable method of projecting photos and/or video from your phone or other device this Mini Projector isn’t a bad option. I was projecting images from my phone and streaming services within minutes of taking it out of the box.The menu items and remote control are a tad clunky. Navigating the options isn’t too hard to find your way around but entering your information and passwords to access your wifi and streaming platforms can be a bit frustrating. It throws a pretty bright image. When it was just projecting plain white light I was able to cast a huge square onto the surround trees in our yard, approximately 40’x40′. But once I changed that to an image things got much darker very quickly. Now that shouldn’t come as a surprise since the trees aren’t a reflective surface and quickly absorbed the light. Had it been a white screen it would have been a much better test. When I turned the beam onto the side of my house (beige siding) I only had an extension cord that let me get about 20′ away. The image was very clear and easy to see.The only real negative against this projector is the poor quality of sound that it produces. For a projector of this size you really shouldn’t expect that it could kick out the jams with any real high fidelity. The projector itself is about the size of a small tube of Quaker Oats Oatmeal. If sound is a big concern then you should probably pair your phone with a bluetooth speaker or run your system through an amplifier. Otherwise it would be like thinking the speakers on your phone are enough for everyone to hear around you. It just can’t do it.You should also know that the fan that keeps the projector cool is also fairly noising so whatever your sound system is, you’ll need to overcome the fan noise to hear as well, especially if you’re seated near it.For me personally, the thing I loved most about the projector was the ability to display my photos from my iPhone onto the wall. My family and I really enjoyed thumbing through our archive of images and seeing them projected on such a large scale. Very fun!

    Good for price
The projector was very good for its price. The sound quality and picture was better than expected. The only thing downside is that the picture displayed was a little bit offset and on an angle that I could not fix.

    Great little projector
Frankly, I don’t know what’s going on with the big A. This is the second time I am attempting to write a review for this product, with the first review being blocked with the claim that I had already reviewed another version of the same product. Since this is literally the first projector I’ve ever owned, that is obviously not the case. That said, this projector is a great little device. No, it’s not the brightest and at 720P it is also not the sharpest. But for the $50 asking price (when you use the coupon), this is a great little deal. The auto keystone feature works remarkably well and its small footprint means it’s a breeze propping this little thing basically anywhere. In the clip, I literally have it just resting on the headboard of my bed (round three of everyone’s favorite virus… ugh) and despite not having any fancy screens or the like, the picture looks great against my blank white wall. But you have to know what you’re getting into here. This projector was not designed to dazzle. It’s more about convenience and cheapest. Remember the buying trifecta (convenience – price – innovation). You can only ever have two. You could do a lot worse than spending $50 on this fun little projector. If nothing else, get it for your kids so they have something to watch while you hog the OLED in the living room.

Not bad considering the cost. If quality is #1 concern, I suggest spending a bit more.
I do like how easy this is to connect to my android phone. The last one I had had trouble connecting which is why I ordered this one.Picture wise? It’s okay and the clarity is decent. As for the stability of the unit, I found it tipped over quite easily even on firm surfaces. Forget carpet or rugs as it doesn’t stay up. Any slight vibration and the picture moves. I have a hyper 4 year old which doesn’t help. My other one lays flat so I didn’t have that issue and prefer that style.I wish the cord was longer too. I had to use an extension cord to get it to where I wanted it since the plug was inches away from the sockets.Sound is okay but nothing spectacular. I haven’t used external speakers yet although I imagine it would sound better than the ones which are part of the projector. Headphones do sound better in my opinion. It is small and compact, plus it works well. I’m not sure what the price is now since prices change, but at the time of writing this I think the cost is fair. This is the typical case of you get what you pay for. Good, not complicated and does the job, but lacking the quality and bells/whistles of pricier ones.I had no problem connecting to various streaming apps and it also connected to my Xbox without issues.I do honestly prefer my other projector but that’s probably unfair to compare it to this one since it’s $100 more.

    Screen cast only
So are most of the features just for show? Streaming apps crash after about an episode and a half. I keep getting pop up windows saying digital wellbeing keeps stopping. Same with Bluetooth. Bluetooth file transfer doesn’t work and just gives me an error anytime I try to pair anything with Bluetooth. Basically only works seamlessly with screen cast, and even then sometimes the audio won’t come out of the projector and I’ll have to listen from the phone I’m casting from.
