Works great, low battery healthy (possibly inaccurate in apples settings) wrong power adapter
[...]First, I want to say the product it self has some minor barely noticeable scratches on the top and front of the casing where you open it. So that’s not a big deal. Everything else, the screen, keyboard, touchbar, and usb-c ports , have been great and working well. I haven’t done anything graphic intense to test out the Radeon video card so I can’t say how powerful that really is, but I have a gaming PC for that anyway.The battery health is supposedly 84% however, I can’t get a good idea on that. The max charge capacity when I check fluctuates between ~4800mAh and 6100mAh BUT it did only show 158 cycles on the batter for an almost 3 year old device. The downside is the battery drains very fast. I had an issue where I shut it down around 50% power and few hours it did refuse to power back on showing a dead battery until I plugged the charger in.Also CHECK the charger you receive. My laptop requires a minimum 85W model and I received a 61W charger. I verified this after a bunch of time spent with Apple Support who couldn’t run remote diagnostics on the battery due to the incorrect voltage from the charger. The seller is supposed to be shipping the correct one to me, currently waiting on the tracking number but they had to verify information and make sure I didn’t lie to them (which is fair. The adapters are not cheap if If it’s an apple brand adapter).Another plus was the one I got did have apple care enterprise until 6/2022. So I’m luckily having apple taking a look at the battery issue.

The unit they had available also came with a much larger storage capacity than the one I ordered. The instructions they sent for returning the unit to the original operating system were spot on. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good deal on a refurbished Apple laptop..

Disappointing Experience with My MacBook

I attempted various troubleshooting steps and updates, but none of them resolved the issue.Overall, my experience with the MacBook has been far from ideal. The product’s reliability and quality were not up to the standard I expected. which has always been known for its high-quality products. It’s frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a device and then encounter such a serious issue shortly after purchase. I hope you addresses these quality control issues, as I believe you should stand behind the quality of their products, even after the initial purchase period has elapsed.

There’s no lag.I bought this to replace my 2013 MacBook (that I loved and named McKenzie) and the difference is obvious.This laptop is refurbished but I couldn’t what what wrong. It has neither scratches not technical hangups.I’m not a computer expert, just an end user who wants a powerful machine, that runs all my programs without delay and in satisfied.Ooh and the display is wonderful. At first, I had in auto adjust but then as comfortable as that was on my eyes, my screen was cream coloured and I needed it bright white for best colour representation.I knew I was going to buy a refurbished MacBook because I could get better specs for my budget, but I was nervous about purchasing from an external source (not Apple). I’m glad I took the chance. What I would have gotten from the apple store had nothing on this. 5 stars.
