Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.

[...]The mouse pad is not positioned centered but slightly to the left, all other computers have the mouse pad on the center. This cause that you right click everything instead of left click and is very annoying.The resolution quality of the monitor is poor and the keyboard doesn’t have light. What year is it? Really.Also be aware that it has a right number pad, making the actual keyboard smaller. If you don’t need that that feature, skip.

This was a huge waste of money and has been a massive inconvenience.There’s nothing wrong with this computer apart from it failing to even turn on sometimes. Oh and the clock is always wrong. It feels like it’s for third-world school use. No touch screen. So take that for what you will.

Set up was seamless. This model of Lenovo, 7000 series with 40 gb of Ram, performs very well. Built in WiFi series 6 connects easily to all router function. I am totally pleased with this laptop and highly recommend. I would purchase again in the future through the same dealer.

[...]I was very nervous purchasing a laptop I didn’t see in store. This laptop has been so great, it runs fast and smooth. My only dislike is that the numb pad is smaller than normal keys. I didn’t see this when originally looking but easy to adapt too. Overall it’s fantastic. I also like that the power cable has a good length and isn’t a giant block with a collapsing prong. The quality of the screen is great.
