Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.

[...]The cooler is very quiet, and the LED lighting is relatively unobtrusive. It will lay flat and still provide acceptable cooling, but using the rear hinged supports improves airflow significantly. What I find most attractive about it is that it does NOT have a captive USB cable; it has a USB-A connector and power switch on the rear that allows you to use a much longer USB cable and a power supply other than your laptop. This might make it suitable for cooling other devices that don’t have built-in USB ports, or the case where no USB ports are available on the laptop.Amazon, unfortunately, decided to package it in one of their minimal-waste plastic bags. And while the cooler’s factory packaging was a cardboard box, it didn’t survive the US Postal Service’s molestation. While the cooler technically still functioned, it was rendered quite unattractive and emitted a whirring sound that faded as I attempted to straighten out the bent surfaces.I contacted KLIM via the support form on their website, describing the situation. In less than 24 hours received a response that resulted in the prompt delivery of a properly packaged replacement unit.KLIM also followed up a few days later to verify that I’d received the replacement and was satisfied with the result. This is excellent customer service, and I won’t hesitate to purchase KLIM products again!

Just a perfect Laptop Cooler Bought 2 !!
[...]Searched many similar laptop coolers and read both positive & negative reviews then decided to purchase this KLIM model (Black & White Model).Open the box and there was a metal mesh top unit with a USB connector and all you have to do is plug in to the power source. In my case, I plugged one into the laptop docking station’s USB port to minimize the burden on the laptop while providing constant power to the cooling fan.Upon turning on the unit very quiet 4 fans with blue LED light working as described on the Amazon and cooled the Lenovo laptop. The height and width of the unit are just perfect size and 4 fans are quiet.I put another unit under the Router and Swtich unit to cool them down. Again both WiFi router and the network switch got much cooler and don’t feel the heat at all.——Now…those 4 Blue LED lights. Well it could have been a home-run if those were NOT there. The Blue LED lights are very bright. If you can cover them with bottom of the laptop, the light will be minimal, however in my case I utitlezd included KLIM Logo stickers to cover the blue LED lights.Overall surprisingly quiet product with 4 fans and simple flat/slim metal surface design is exactly what I was looking for. Strongly recommend this laptop cooler.**Please trust only reviews by the verified purchaser and actual daily user.Not Vine nor paid Early Reviewers.**

Very decent considering the price
[...]I tried 3 “better” coolers, changed this from 3 star to 4. With a better grasp of what a cooling pad can do, I like this one a bitIf you want something rugged, long lasting, or powerful enough to lower your laptop temps while gaming/video editing, this is not it.This cooling pad shines if you want something cheap easy to carry, unobtrusive, that will allow air to circulate.This is the lightest cooling pad I’ve tried. It’s also the thinnest and quietest.This model has small tabs in the back you can flip to create and angle (like on a standard pc keyboard).The surface coating has enough friction to keep it from sliding.The USB cable is not permanently attached and it has an on/off switch (both things are rare at this price point)What I specially love is that the bottom edge are only slightly angled out, most cooling pads are designed to be a thin lipped tray on a block containing fans, since these don’t have a lip, you can slide it into a slip top sleeve and worry about the edges breaking off, it also means it has a wider base, more comfortable if you do use it on your lap, chest, stomach…The fans are weak even by cheap cooling pad standards but it is (just barely) to keep your lap from feeling hot (if you use it on you lap).Cons:The 4 fans combined blow at around 30 cfm (lower than most cooling pads).It’s Thin and light because the plastic and metal used is just thick enough to support the laptops weight. It will dent or shatter if dropped from above waist height.The surface is not the typical metal mesh, but rather a thin sheet if very small holes in it ostensibly because metal this thin wouldn’t have structural integrity as a mesh. The smallness of the holes slow the airflow even more.And obviously this is a cheap cooling pad, the fans start vibrating or fail sooner than later.

This is already helping my MacBook to run cooler than ever. The price point is very affordable and the design makes it so that the pad practically sticks to the bottom of the laptop. Highly recommend and will update in 3 months, but 5 stars for now. Does what’s advertised.Note: I have a 2019 MacBook Pro.
