Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.

Horrible Battery Life
[...]Do not buy this computer. The battery life is horrible and even just internet browsing drains 1% of battery life every minute. I actually had to send it back to the manufacturer for repairs and even when I got it back I noticed little in the way of improvement, and I have been using it mainly for just internet browsing, so it is not because I am using multiple intensive applications at once. Also, Google Chrome lags horribly when using it. My next laptop purchase will be from anyone except HP.

[...]This unit is great. I don’t have much to add to other reviews. But I can confirm that this model is easily upgradable to 64gig of memory. I used a gskill ripsaw kit at 1.2v. Its only seven small screws and a little bit of gentle manipulation to remove the back.
