Was ok to start 1.6L petrol once, one second use a week or so later, just wouldn’t start the car. Then went from 100% to 72% every though the car didn’t turn over at all. Turned the jump starter on and off a few times as it failed to come on at all, turned car over it started just, but went from 72% to 0% Returning jump starter for a refund.

Misleading product description; UPDATE Product works well
[...]The product description lists its engine’s jump start capacity at 5l gas and 3l diesel but the product literature and the company’s own website lists the capacity at 4l gas and 2l diesel. I just received the product today and haven’t had a chance to use it so I don’t have enough information to rate its performance. The vehicle I got it for has a 3.0 liter gas engine which should still work with this unit so I’m not returning it just yet but for the misleading info I give it one star.UPDATE: I used the unit on a dead cold battery for my 3.0 liter V6 4X4 Toyota pickup. The unit was charged at 100% and the engine turned over on the first try. I removed it and let the engine warm up a bit then turned it off and tried to restart. The battery had not charged enough so I used the unit again. This time the unit had a 94% charge and again it turned over on the first try. After both jumps the unit still had a 90% charge. I’m pretty impressed with this product so far. I don’t know how long it will maintain this starting power but I would recommend this to anyone with a similar engine. The instructions are not complicated and It’s easy to hook up. Still taking off one star for the misleading product info.

Came shipped already with a 90% charge and started the car right up. It has a usb-A to usb-c cord so I can charge up in the car during long trips in case this happens again away from home.
