Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.

Es muy cómodo, puedes estar mucho rato con los cascos puestos y no se nota ni pesado ni molesto. Las orejas quedan bien encajadas y el sonido encapsulado. Es mejor instalarlo con la salida óptica (es la recomendada) porque con la salida auxiliar se oye un pequeño zumbido cuando el sonido baja o la música deja de sonar. Lo tengo instalado en un televisor Panasonic del 2012 y funciona perfectamente. Materiales de tacto muy bueno y la distancia que soporta es muy amplia, puedes ir a otras habitaciones y se sigue escuchando muy bien.Muy buena compra, recomendable.

Enjoy TV without cranking the volume to insane levels
[...]Overall, these headphones work great, allowing my wife, who suffers from mild hearing loss, to watch television without cranking the volume to insane volume levels. The headphones sound good, hold a charge forever, sync audio perfectly to the video and are comfortable to wear for extended periods. We like them much better than the Sennheiser’s they replaced.A couple of nits….Even though these headphones provide audio passthrough (audio out), they require a stereo PCM audio stream input. They will not pass any multi-channel bitstream signal like Dolby Digital, DTS or Atmos. If you have a home theater, without a splitter and a converter that will downmix Atmos or Dolby Digital to stereo PCM, you will have to set your system to output PCM, giving up the sonic benefits of Dolby Digital. Those accessories add additional complexities and expense. A better, simpler approach would be for the Opera to downmix internally and pass through the unaltered audio stream, thus eliminating the need for additional hardware. Given the cost of the item that seems like a reasonable expectation.Also, I found customer support unresponsive. I contacted them via email and never received a reply. Annoying.Highly recommended if you don’t mind the lack of multi-channel audio support (e.g. requiring a stereo PCM signal).

And the sound quality is very good.Nothing is completely perfect, and I have a few suggestions for future improvements. The volume-control buttons on the headphones are small and fiddly: a rotary volume-control knob would be better. The audible announcements that come through the phones (e.g., “TV Mode Connected”) are annoyingly loud, and really unnecessary. And the connection between the phones and the charger unit is hard to use; one has to position the headphones on the charger very carefully to make the connection. But these are just minor quibbles. I still say it’s an excellent device.I had one unfortunate experience, when the plastic housing of the headphones suddenly and for no reason cracked open. The device was still under warranty, and the seller was remarkably helpful. They quickly replaced the defective item, and made the process very easy to do. Five star customer service!

Awesome Item That works Great
[...]My wife loves to watch TV AFTER it’s time for us to go to bed. I was struggling for months listening to her watching TV in our bedroom until stumbling across this concept. Wireless headphones that plug right into the TV set and require zero effort or pairing or fighting to keep them working. Looked at many similar items before picking this brand, and I feel I made the right move. 26″ Samsung Flat screen LED TV about 5 years old. Bought this set of headphones to try. Right from the packaging I was impressed. Strongly built, brightly colored box that we kept for future use. Headphones sit on the Charging base stand so no wires and chargers sitting around looking junky. Plug the headphones into a USB cube (more on that later) and plug the cube into the receptacle. Already charged right from the store. Comes with a few options to connect to the TV. We used the OPTIC cable just because it’s a clean and more direct source. Plug the Optic cable into the back of the TV, and into the charging Stand. Lift the headphones off the stand and they immediately say something like “welcome to Avantree” then in a few seconds they say “Connected” as they connect with the charging base. Walk anywhere in the room and hear the TV thru the headphones. Then use your TV remote to put the volume of the TV on ZERO. Adjust the volume of the headphones with the volume knob on the headphones and you are now listening to the TV with the headphones only. My wife also claims they are very comfortable and she has watched TV for a few hours at a time without discomfort. I have used many types of headphones in my life, and it’s not easy to find a pair that is comfortable for long periods of time. Best part, let’s say I suddenly decide to watch TV or a certain part of a show with her ? She continues wearing the headphones at her volume level, and I just use the Remote to turn the volume up on the TV speakers. Turn it back to ZERO when I’m done and she continues on watching and hearing TV at her set level. Had for about two month now and very pleased. The USB Cube I mentioned ? The OPERA headphones include a FREE USB cube with your purchase. Now they do not include them in the box, which is a smart idea on their part. They require you to go to their website and REGISTER the headphones. Once you register the headphones, you double the warranty period AND they then offer you a FREE high quality USB CUBE with their brand name on it. My USB cube arrived 4 days after I ordered it for FREE with FREE postage. Seriously, it’s FREE – no gimmicks. I have not gotten a single email or offer or advertisement from Avantree in the last 2 months since I registered. I actually had trouble locating where the FREE USB cube was listed, and late at night I used their CHAT which was popped up on the screen ready to go. Immediately a friendly person came on, thanked me for registering and the purchase and linked me to the correct spot. Never once has it disconnected or not worked as soon as they are picked up from the charging stand. I never give a review unless I feel very strongly about a product. I highly recommend these and I hope you have the good luck I did.

Additionally, the headphones substantial but light-weight construction and its luxuriously-cushioned earcups make for a very pleasant experience when I watch videos or listen to my favorite music for as long as I want without any discomfort at all. I highly recommend these headphones! As for customer service, I had a problem with one of my previous Opera headphones that was damaged by a very unusual accident. Since it was covered by a 2-year warranty I contacted Avantree and explained what had happened. I have to say everything went exceedingly well. The representative was professional, considerate and a real pleasure to deal with. Subsequently, after Avantree reviewed the issue, it was quickly resolved to my complete satisfaction.
