Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.
Activate pre-installed Office 365:
1.Launch any Office app >
2.Start your activation by signing in with your account(Create a account if you don’t have one yet) >
3.Click “Activative Office” >
4.Sign in your account and follow the next prompts. >
5.Complete Step 1,2 and 3 >
6.Click on Refresh once Office is ready >
7.Open a document and accept the license agreement.

Junk after only 4 years usage
[...]I should have known that “Renewed” is always a bad compromise. 4 years of usage and frequently update and maintenance, this junk has “shut itself down” for too many times that I could count, and any report to Apple is useless and empty. It has memory allocation issue and for a while it seemed like it was resolved, and of course new problem arose. Something keeps interfering with using wifi/ethernet at highest speed. I know this because I am software engineer and I tested and tried to isolate issues that could relate to my network (modem, router, switches) while side by side comparing speed test and jitter with another macbook of mine. I do not recommend this product.

[...]I purchased through amazon this m1 chip 512 gb 8ram macbook pro 2020 year manufacture. I’m a mac user of many years. The computer is blazing fast, slim, light with great battery life. A huge bonus—-little need for additional anti virus add on software since the macbook anti virus platform is very solid. A hidden gem when you buy any apple device is phenomenal tech telephone support. The advisors at the apple stores and by telephone are the best part of the apple experience for me and even rival the devices they sell. Yes, I hate the high prices and know the game but over time I’ve accepted their price points because of the incredible tech support.

[...]Bought this for school ‘cause we were on a budget and HAD to have a Mac Book for 2D Design. we thought it was perfect. It works and runs well but the battery doesn’t last longer than maybe 3 hours. If you plan on using it for long periods of time definitely invest in a portable charger. This mac book will probably last me one class at most without the charger.

Broken Keyboard
[...]My partner and I were so excited to open this laptop and get everything set up. It looked perfect coming out of the package and worked until we had to actually type. The keyboard itself LOOKS fine, but the delete button made an equal sign and the return button didn’t work. Several keys made incorrect characters and double characters appear. “P” was “PU” and “7” was “70.” Never seen anything like it. So just as fast as we’d unpacked this laptop, we have to return it. Talk about disappointing. We won’t be getting a replacement out of fear that the next one will have similar issues. It’s just not worth the time, money, or energy.
