Inconsistent
[...]When I first connected this, I placed it by a window in the bedroom and it pulled in more channels than previous antennas that I tried. They quality of the image was originally very good. But then it started to pixelate and it got worse and worse. I think that the connector from the antenna cable that attaches to the little booster box is loose and does not stay on correctly. It is not a threaded connection. It is simply a clip on connector and it seems to be very poor quality. I tried to tighten it manually and it seems to help a little, but I still get some pixelation. I wish someone would actually make a good reliable antenna that isn’t really expensive. With more people cutting cable, there seems to be a greater need to replace local cable channels with OTA reception. It seems like we’re going backwards….*** Update. The pixelation kept getting worse to the point where it was unusable. Had to return it.

[...]Just installed and scanned channels. Received 4 channels which are 40 miles away. Unable to get channels that are 30 miles away. Unable to get channels that are 60 miles away. Antanae is mounted on top of house outside. If you can get channels from 1400 miles away that’d be a miracle. I question the quality of this antanae

Surprisingly improved reception
[...]I have a Tablo & need a good antenna. All the rabbit ears & panel types won’t really work well at my house. The tower that sends out our local CBS & NBC channels is close to my house, so I pick those up fairly well. The Fox affiliate comes in fine if the antenna is placed correctly. The ABC station broadcasts from a tower near their studio close to the Airport, which is farther east of my house, which has no windows on the east side, so I get next to no signal from them on a sunny day. I plugged this in on a cloudy, misty rain day & set it up in the closest window & with a little bit of turning & moving around, low & behold I have “mostly” stable signal from Ch.2. I suspect that if I put it outside my window it would pick up perfectly. The cord is certainly long enough! I have tried several antenna & so far, this one blows away the competition. I’m surprised at the improvement. It is better than the old one on a sunny day. I think they should provide some suction cups for mounting, but I understand that’s unreliable. I plan to use clear Command hooks. Satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent OTA Antenna
[...]I NEVER write reviews, but this OTA antenna deserves it! I live in a 3rd floor apartment in a densely populated, urban area. I plan on cutting back on streaming services, but still want to be able to watch live sports on ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX.The antenna can be easily wall mounted and the cord is long. Set up and scanning for channels was a breeze, and I did it prior to mounting on the wall to make sure it worked. My first scan had the antenna sitting on a bookshelf, facing up. I got about 40ish channels, including ABC, CBS, NBC, but surprisingly I didn’t get FOX. I faced the antenna South, rescanned, and got the same results, still no FOX. I repeated the process facing West, same results. I started getting frustrated that I couldn’t get FOX, but then asked myself a simple question:”Self, does it matter what direction the antenna faces?” Short answer, yes! I faced the antenna East, rescanned, and Bingo! Not only did I get FOX, the antenna facing East also picked up over 60 channels, far more than when facing other directions.Moral of the story: be patient when setting it up, move it around facing different directions, and remember to rescan for channels each time you reposition the antenna. You’ll eventually find the sweet spot!The antenna is now wall mounted in my apartment, up by the ceiling, above a window. Last point, it’s true the picture quality with this antenna is just as good if not better than what you’ll get when streaming.If you want a good OTA antenna, this is an excellent choice.

Did not work, poor reception
[...]I had high hopes for this product but it did not work. First I thought maybe it’s empty since it’s so light. I was replacing a cheaper, flat antenna that got 60 miles of range so I could move that to another TV. That antenna was 1/2 the price and got about 43 channels no problem. This one got 1. I tried it in every spot I could, I got a couple of others, all with artifacting and dropping of the signal. For twice the price and a “1500 mile” range, I was expecting quick, easy setup and at the very least the handful of local channels. I got none of that. This was a bust. Maybe it was the antenna itself, but I can not recommend this one and will be looking for another model that hopefully works.

[...]The antenna worked OK but only as well as a bare antenna. Claims of hundreds of miles of range are baloney. Did not see any improvement with amplifier over the bare antenna. Cord was very thin. I returned it and am using a basic outdoor antenna with no amplifier

[...]We no longer subscribe to cable and this antenna let’s us watch the local channels, picture is clear and we get most of the major local channels. Much better than the antenna we had before this one. Highly recommend.

Doesn’t Work As Described
[...]I purchased this for my mother who lives 55 miles from the neatest TV station. She had an old analog antenna that only picked up 4 channels. I installed this new antenna and could still only get 4 channels.Not what I expected from an antenna that’s advertised to pick up channels over 1,000 miles away.
