[...]On February 25, 2024. I purchased the “HP Newest 14” HD Light Thin Laptop Student Business, Quad-Core Intel N4120, 16GB RAM, 320GB (64GB) from this seller. Per the product description, the product has Capacity: 16GB RAM + 320GB Storage. In September when I started using the laptop more to start my small business, the system crashed. I contacted Hewlett-Packard (HP) for technical support under the manufacturer’s 1 year warranty. Upon HP’s diagnosis of the device of the serial number and other encoded numbers to identify their device, HP technical support notified me that the device sold to me was not 16GB, but it is actually a 4GB device. HP knows every device they sale. They also stated that increasing memory is not the capability of this laptop, and repair is not an option. This seller sold me a 4GB product, and not the 16GB that they advertised. Deceptive and disappointing. They have not responded in a manner to neither replace or refund my laptop. I purchases Asurion, however because I am still within my 12 month warranty I have been advised to contact the seller and enforce the 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. But the seller, to date has yet to respond with a resolution.

Light weight
[...]The laptop is very light weight and thin. Fits easily in the case I bought for it. Didn’t really like the color-white-but it’s growing on me. Easy to get up and running. Just don’t depend on the MaKafee app to protect you. It’s not compatible with Windows 11. Mine crashed the 1st week I had it. Had to spend $425 to get it fixed with all the viruses that it had on it and for 2 years of protection from Windows security. Don’t dismiss the notices that pop up about that security program. I almost bought the protection from MaKafee app but laptop crashed first. The tech took me to the notice where it says that it is not compatible. Once it was fixed, it works fine. Don’t like all the programs that were installed when I got it but the tech took care of that too. Windows tech called me everyday the 1st week and weekly for the month after that. Will call now 2 times a month now for a while. The service has been excellent. Don’t be afraid to call the 800 number that pops up on your screen when it crashes.

[...]The computer was super slow, would not “wake up” from sleep mode, and after an update had tons of issues. Ultimately, I bought a far better model and started a return. Upon sending the item back, the seller did give a full refund with no hassles. The 5 star here is for the seller, the computer gets a solid 1 star as it was new and worked for a hot minute.
