Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)

Not worth Price
[...]When I first bought this product I was excited for it. I have an old alienware desktop I bought in 2020 and it still works as if it’s brand new. Now this laptop is twice the price of my desktop. This laptop is fast but it does pause at times when loading. Not as often but everytime i use it. And the 1st day I received it I everything that was needed which took over 2 hours with the connection being wired and good. Once I finished updating everything I turned it off and left it alone. Once I wanted to go back on it however the laptop turned on and had a black screen. I kept trying to troubleshoot it but it took hours! I finally got it to boot up and it automatically went to the bios screen I messed with some of the settings and it finally worked. I issue is I had it for less than 24 hours and it is at times running slow and giving me real issues. I’m my opinion this laptop should me worth at most $1200 for the version I got. Was a huge disappointment for a $2000 laptop! I love alienware but they need to get their stuff together!
