Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.

Crashed 5 times in 2 weeks.
[...]If you can deal with periodic crashes and slowness, this might work for you because the price is good.I thought I can be okay with slowness as this is a secondary computer and I don’t use it for important tasks. But it keeps just going black screen, 5 times in just 2 weeks I had it.So had to return it and go back to brand name computers.

Now it Works
[...]The laptop is a nice size and used for basic home computer work, i.e. surfing the web, sending emails and organizing pictures. When it was delivered the charger did not work. I reported it to the seller. They sent out another one but it was not shipped overnight. It took about a week for it to arrive and was delivered via the US Postal Service. It was not delivered at my door but was placed on the top of the mailbox. I live in an apartment building. I notified the seller I didn’t receive it, they shipped another that was delivered in about 2 days to my door. Other than that I’ve had no issues with the laptop.

[...]I got this laptop with plans of setting it up as a Christmas present for my computer-illerate father so he can use the internet and email.After letting the laptop charge I went to turn it on with plans to set it up so I can gift it to him in a couple days. Nothing. It does not boot. The only sign of life the laptop gives is the power on LED light.The user manual says to contact the distributor and provides no contacts. The warranty card only offers an email address for contact, and I know exactly how this song and dance will go. I will amend this review if my issues get resolved, but until then I cannot recommend this laptop model nor brand to anyone.

[...]So far, no complaints. This laptop works and was priced competitively. Battery life is actually better than expected, at close to 6 hours. Screen is sharp and bright. Sometimes slow to load programs, but fine for basic internet and word processing.

[...]This is a nice computer with a clear screen. Sound quality is perfect. It was most definitely worth the money I paid. Slow startup but then runs quite nicely. I’m not sure about the storage yet as I just started using it. It was boxed up nice and tight to avoid damage. . I just wish it was a touchscreen. Would buy again!
