[...]Amazing laptop I can’t really find nothing wrong except just the price. I got new on sale for the 2024 model for 2800 so I could say I am somewhat comfortable with that. I believe we are paying a premium do to win pro and upgradability of the scar. You can upgrade the scar to 64 ram etc. The strix 18 comparable version you can’t, comes with just about the same specs as the scar G834JZR-XS96 version just a few differences, for example win home I think and comes maxed out from what I believe to 32 ram etc, so not upgradable past what it comes with maybe except the SSD. The 18 strix I found new around 2000 with same specs that of the scar. From what I understand they have little differences but nothing to justify that 1000 extra for the scar I believe anyway. Unless you planning on upgrading it like me😉 if you plan on just getting something great to game with and plan on buying something later just get strix 18. Hope this helps someone.

Serious Issues!!!
[...]The laptop did not wake up properly when in sleep mode. I reported the issue to Asus technical support and the problem was not resolved. The computer required me to press a variety of keys to get the display to come on again. The final straw was when the display would no longer come on, just a black screen even though the keyboard was lit up. I returned the unit yesterday.I’m going back to Dell. Maybe I got a lemon, but I confirmed with Asus tech support that the display problem is a known issue. I find some of these reviews suspect considering the terrible experience I had with the laptop. Oh, and my job is IT, so it’s not like I don’t know how to use technology/computers.

I mainly got it to stream because my old laptop just couldn’t handle streaming without stuttering. I’ve downloaded call of duty warzone and it runs pretty good once you update all of the drivers. Runs better than my Ps5 with no lag so I may be switching over lol. My only complaints are the screen is a little small but you can always plug in a monitor. Also the speakers sound good just a little low but you can always use a headset or any other speaker device to make up for it. I was sold on the price and the cool look of it. There are better laptops out there of course but this is great for people that are cheap and don’t want to spend all there hard earned money like me lmao. I also did the Amazon payment plan. I would recommend this for sure

As a desktop replacement it works extremely well, but weight might be a problem if you actually trying to carry this thing around with you.Appearance: solid black plastic, looks good, it had RGB lights all around is good if you’re into that. Personally I just put it on solid red. Which creates some ambient light but isn’t enough to illuminate the desk or annoy you at night.Right now it’s definitely a better value for money than 4090 model.Really surprised how cold the CPU runs. I think I never got it higher than 85C. Fans aren’t very loud either.
