Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.

[...]The 2017 MacBook i7 16GB Ram in excellent condition came in as such.The finish of the product was everything I was expecting. With the only cosmetic mark I could find was on the Apple logo itself, it was ever so faint. Though considering that the logo is known to suck up scratches like a black hole, I find it completely acceptable and I only noticed it while holding a 1000 lumen flashlight over top of the lid.The hardware runs smooth as silk. The biggest suggestion I can offer to those who buy these older Macintosh machines, understand that “Upgrading” to the latest OS is the last thing you want to do to these older models.My only complaint is that the company used Federal Express to ship the product, and in true FedEx fashion the delivery was the worst part of purchasing from online retailers.Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. The computer is an absolute beast for use as my personal iTunes Jukebox/iPod Wrangler.
