Al principio tenía mis dudas en comprar esta computadora como mi segunda estación de trajo, ya que tengo la M3 Max y quería el M1 Max para una estación secundaria.Nunca había comprado un artículo renovado, para mi sorpresa llegó totalmente nuevo! Cargador de 120w nuevo y cable igual nuevo, con 5 ciclos de carga y literalmente la computadora esta nueva!!Supongo es cuestión de suerte, pero si estás pensado en adquirirla te aseguro que esta bien la potencia y si la comparo con mi M3 Max la diferencia es notoria pero no tanta porque recordemos que es el M1 Max y cuando salió Apple hizo un increíble trabajo

La macbook llego totalmente sellada en su caja generica. La verdad, esta impecable. Tiene solo 7 ciclos en la bateria y el cargador aparentemente es original. Aun huele a nuevo!0 fallas. Recomendado!El único detalle es que había pedido un color que me costó más caro y me mandaron un color más barato. Amazon no quiso hacer el reembolso de la diferencia, querían que mandara el equipo de vuelta aún mandado la evidencia. Opte por quedarme con el equipo.

Había leído una gran mayoría de reseñas positivas, y también algunas malas, así que me sentía un tanto inseguro, pero cuando llegó me voló por completo, está básicamente nueva, venía empacada como un producto salido de una tienda apple, con el 100 por ciento de batería, tan solo 5 cíclos, cargador original y ni el más mínimo detalle estético. Dicho en pocas palabras: Estoy muy feliz y satisfecho, recomendación 10/10.

Best laptop I’ve every owned
[...]Bought this as renewed, but it only had 6 battery cycles in its history. When it arrived, it appeared flawless and brand new. I use it as my daily driver, running VMs, media, and multiple apps simultaneously and it has never slowed down. Nor have the fans come on. Not even once. Would definitely recommend.

Great value, Pro power for years to come
[...]The MacBook 16 in M1 Max only had 4 battery cycles and 100% battery life and came with all of the original packaging and chargers. For 2300 USD I think this is an unbeatable value. For 2400-2600 you can get an open box deal as well which is already a great value. Best buy also sells it new for 2800 which is not a bad deal. Even if the computer was used for a few months and was at 90% battery life I think it would still be an excellent value. My MacBook 13 in m1 is at about 86% battery life with 2 years of hard use and that definitely has a lot of life in it. I mainly got this for graphics and running many dockers and multitasking. The 16 in will be good for travel as well.

Also, I kept seeing people posting about brand new laptops and less than ten battery cycles. This one has more than 75 and I still can’t complain because it was my fault for being so excited to get this beast I bought before reading all of the fine print.The most important thing in my opinion is AppleCare+. Knowing that you are covered in case something happens to your 2-3k laptop that you’ll be able to get it fix quickly by Apple. That isn’t an option when buying 3rd party. The deals are great, but when you need a repair you’re sol.Buyer be warned

It is my civic duty to warn you not to buy from Smart Resale CA
[...]After returning from a 6 month international film trip, my old Mac died and I thought I lost all the footage. Fortunately it was backed up, but I literally had to launch a crowd funding campaign to help fund a new computer.A month later, I finally had enough money to get a new computer and I made sure to buy from Smart Resale CA because they had better reviews compared to the other company that is included in this listing (Amazon should be more transparent about that, because if you don’t know to look for it, you’ll miss the fact you can have multiple sellers under one listing).So I get the MacBook M1 Max, and it’s perfect for a week, and then the screen suddenly glitches out one day, crashes, and when I turn it back on, all I get a blurred out screen. Eventually it started up properly, but this time had horizontal lines across the display. After contacting them to see if they could they could send a replacement or do something to help ensure I’m not without a computer again for weeks once I return it, they said the only thing they could do is ensure they refunded me as soon as it arrived back to them. So I send it back, 4 days later it arrives to them on a Friday early afternoon.I wasn’t able to view the screen (even over HDMI) after resetting it before returning and so I contacted them to make sure they properly wipe it (Putting a lot of faith and trust that my wipe worked and that they’ll do it again properly to ensure no information is recovered and stollen). That alone is enough reason alone for why I would never another MacBook off Amazon without being able to get Apple Care (which you can’t with these given the year and the fact it’s being sold by rando 3rd party companies).So they were responsive throughout the weekend and this whole process which I’ll give them credit for, but when I asked for my refund they send me some BS today (Monday) saying that were off work Friday and through the weekend, and that they do their best to process refunds as quickly as possible (despite still messaging me every single day throughout the weekend, and explicitly stating that they would process the refund immediately after receiving the computer).So now, I’m going on over a week without the refund being processed (not accounting for the delay back to my card once they do submit it), and every day that this goes on, is another day I’m loosing money and longer my money is held up before I can buy a new computer. This isn’t a $20 supplement, it’s a $2,000 computer that most people are likely buying for work and need to work.The fact Amazon doesn’t have a better system for ensuring there are big waiting periods for either customers or seller with high ticket items like this is astonishing, but the fact is, it’s a toss up if you will get a faulty computer, and if you do, just know, that Smart Resale will not make it easy for you to return or replace, and you can’t get Apple care, so if you’re computer dies after the return window closes, you are going to be out half the cost of the computer.Hope this helps save someone $2000 and weeks of headache and time loss.

New in apple box sealed
[...]The one I received was better then renewed. It was brand new. Came in the original apple box sealed from the factory. Battery had 3 discharge cycles on it, I assume from testing the in the factory. There were no scratches or any sign of use. The price dropped 300 2 weeks after I bought it, wish that hadn’t happened, but its still a fraction of the price of the new setup. Like the 16 inch over the 14 as it runs cooler and seems to have better battery life. The M1 MAX is an improvement but most notice under heavy load. My last mac book pro is now 7 years old and being handed down to my son. I expect similar life to this. But either way it was half price. Cant beat it.
