[...]Received this and started setup. In the process of setting up a user account, the computer restarted and while the user account was created, it didn’t recognize the password I had given it. I didn’t enter an appleid during setup because i was setting it up for someone else. I went to reinstall the OS in an attempt to create a new user but was told the computer was linked to a gmail account that wasn’t mine. Contacted seller, they quickly sent me an RA and I returned it. Now they are saying the gmail account is mine and refuse to refund the money or replace the computer. If the computer hadn’t glitched I would never have known about the appleid attached to the computer and now all I get are repeat messages from them, no actual responses from anything I have told them. In my opinion this is a scam. The fact that I now see the exact same refurbished computer available on Amazon also makes me wonder.

[...]The Macbook arrived with a malfunctioning charging brick. I needed this machine for a backup to get a project done so it made more sense to buy another charging brick rather than the time it would cost getting a replacement through processing a return.Additionally, the seller described the Macbook as being in “excellent” condition. The battery on the unit lasts, at best, 30 minutes before needing a charge. Then add the malfunctioning charging brick to the equation, I don’t think “excellent” is the accurate word to use when describing the unit. It’s dishonest and misleading but hey, they got their money.Purchase with caution.
