Switching out of S mode in Windows 11
Windows 11 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Store, you’ll need to switch out of S mode
1. On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation.
2. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section, be careful not to click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there.)
3. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Store.

got this laptop yesterday and exciting to use it but bad news that cannot do software update and it’s damage and the memory is defective and need to replace Logicboard and Touch ID cost $1,199. plus tax ouch! so decide to return it as not good idea to buy from them and if you want to buy from them please go to Apple store and have them run Diagnostics test as highly recommend and got the not Apple product plug just give you guys head up and very sad and know it’s really good deal but give you an headache

It’s nice, but has a major flaw.
[...]It’s a really nice computer. Works great, and does everything my daughter needs it to do for school. Runs smoothly. However it does have one costly major flaw. The screens of these laptops are highly sensitive. My daughter got a tiny object in between the screen and the keyboard when she closed it. The next time she opens it in the same day, the screen is damaged. Which in return cause one third of her screen to black out and have lines. When we took it to be repaired, we were told that the screen had impact damage to the screen. When we asked how could this be, being that it hadn’t been dropped, hit, or anything of that nature. We was told that something as small as a crumb could get in between the screen and the keyboard, and find the weak spots of the the screen and cause damage. That was a six hundred and twenty-four dollar fix. We had to buy a new screen, it was even used part and have it replaced. We have had other macbook pro before and never had this kind of problem. So if you get one of these, while they are very nice. Be very very careful, because one part can cost you over half what you paid for the computer in the first place.

Macbook Pro is like new
[...]I highly recommended buying from this seller. I purchased 2 refurbished/renewed MacBook Pro laptops. There are a couple of other reviews that showed damage to the Macbooks that they bought. However, the two that I got look and act as if they are brand new. I don’t see any damage or marks on them, and every part is working. These laptops are made in 2019 (Macbook Pro, 16 inch, 2019), so essentially 3 years old, but look and act like they are brand new, and I expect them to be good for many years. The laptops were well wrapped and packaged during shipping and delivery which probably helped them from becoming damaged.I’ve bought refurbished Macbooks directly from Apple before because you can essentially get a like new Macbook for a big discount. These Macbooks are just as good as what you would get from buying directly from Apple.

Everything works well but the battery
[...]Dies while plugged in. Apple said that generic charging block is not sufficient for device. Got an Apple 140w block and cable to replace what I received. Laptop will only charge correctly if lid is open, just makes beeping sounds when the lid is closed. Apple stated that because it is a renewed device that the seller probably replaced the original battery with an aftermarket lower quality battery. Couldn’t find a way to message the seller about concern so 1.5 months later, not very happy with purchase. Will not purchase again, advise others to check your device thoroughly if you choose to purchase.
