Easy set up – good picture
[...]The set up of this tv can be done via the remote or through your phone. I choose the Google Home app so that I can use my phone to control some of the features and it makes for easier linking to the various apps that are supported. It took about 30 minutes with some of that time messing with the Google Home app on my phone that had nothing to do with the TV setup. If you set up the Google Home app on your phone first, you will save some of the hassle. Keep in mind that you can set it up as a basic TV but I chose not to. Once set up, I tested with YouTube and Netflix and had no issue. I did not test it with Prime or other streaming services yet, since I decided if one or two worked, then there most likely will not be issues with the other services. Most problems relate to connectivity between your wifi, tv, remote and phone rather than the actual streaming services anyway. The TV picture quality was pretty good for the price of the TV. It has picture quality features that are inbeded into the programming and will be noticeable on higher quality movies with a lot of action. The great thing is the ability to cast, although given that it has YouTube and most of the apps I use already on the TV, I am not sure that will be used much. What will be used is the voice control features. Easier to just talk and ask for a TV show or music selection. The one thing I thought was a bit irritating and I need to see if it can be changed, is the close captioning. It seems to jump around the screen at the top, rather than scrolling on the bottom of the screen. Seems to be related to who is talking on screen. That may take a while to get used to. Overall, a pretty nice TV and a great value with easy set up.

Will not connect to wifi
[...]I have no issues with any other devices in my home. I tried to connect it using wifi, it says cannot reach, I used the ethernet cord, it says cannot reach, I used my phones hot spot, it says cannot reach! I factory rest the tv, it says Cannot reach internet. There is no phone number to call for help troubleshooting, only an email address. Don’t purchase. Waste of time.

It’s a tv for an older generation
[...]It’s a fine enough tv but if you have even the slightest bit of tech knowledge this thing will infuriate you to no end. It won’t let me connect to my Google home, the Google assistant doesn’t work, and all casting properties have to come from 3rd party apps.

Wow! An incredible value!
[...]I gotta admit – when I saw the other reviews for this television, I was worried. However, when mine showed up today, I eagerly set it up and checked it out. Contrary to one review, I had no issue whatsoever with getting it set up. Okay, a minor issue, but not with the TV. I was trying to set it up via my phone and the Google app kept giving me errors, so I had to finish on the TV itself. Once it was all done, I shot into Amazon Prime and logged in to check it out. My photo is from the TV show “Better Off Ted”, one of my favorites back in the day. It streamed no issue and played a couple of episodes cleanly and no hiccups. The sound out of it is also very good and definitely gives you a good feeling of being in the show you’re watching.Another complaint I saw was regarding the thickness of it. I have no issue with the thickness of it. I mean, this thing has WiFi built into it and impressive sound. You’re not gonna get all that with what that person was expecting. It may not be the thinnest thing out there, but it will definitely sit fairly flat on a wall.In yet another review, I saw someone who seriously questioned if this was 50”. I don’t. This thing is definitely 50”. I measured it using a measuring tape for measuring body dimensions and it was 50” dead-on corner to corner. Not sure what that person was thinking. Maybe they don’t know how TVs are measured or something.It’s 4k, so the picture quality is very good. The streaming quality is also very good. With those two things together with the sound, you got a winning package. I am honestly shocked that this TV is the price it is. I’m super happy with mine. It is everything I was hoping it would be. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe the product quality has gotten a lot better. All I know is mine works exactly as advertised and is exactly what was promised. The only disappointing thing about is now I need a new TV stand. What I was using isn’t nearly wide enough to put this on!

FPD- flat panel display is a complete slap in the face for the product that I recieved! Flat panel- more like fortified panel! When I brought my concerns to the seller, they GASLIT me into trying to believe that “sometimes they are like this” the back is not flat- its thicker than my hand. Don’t be fooled by this listing!!!! Not worth your time or money! If you like being scammed this is the product for you! The quality of the picture isn’t worth the headache. The google voice activated remote, its set up is far too difficult and I have not been able to properly activate it. The sound quality is just like your standard tv, nothing special or to pay an exorbitant amount for. The speed of set up was average. I would HIGHLY recommend never purchacing this tv from this seller!!!! I am so disappointed and hurt by the lies of this seller!!
