Es un dispositivo muy bueno, corre juegos demandantes y ejecuta muy bien programas de edición y creación audiovisual. El mismo software de Lenovo permite limitar el uso y voltaje del procesador y chipset gráfico dedicado. Por otro lado se me hizo Interesante que trae un cambio para la tapa posterior para que le cambies el color predeterminado (negro) por uno de bordes azules.Puntos negativos:- Se calienta mucho si no administras bien sus recursos y la carga le dura 1hora y media poniendo tasa de refresco y todo en el sistema en bajo consumo, para jugar sin conetarla a energía no la recomiendo.-Por otro lado Amazon estuvo posponiendo la entrega por 6 días… Siendo un equipo costoso tampoco me pidieron contraseña cuando me la entregaron. Si eres de México prepárate mentalmente a este tipo de situaciones antes de comprarla.

Agregando a los otros comentarios, la compré con algo de miedo por los comentarios de personas que no les llegó la laptop correcta. Sin embargo en un lapso de tiempo en el Prime Day cayó hasta 25K con promociones, y un descuento de 12K me pareción que valía la pena el riesgo. Sin embargo, la laptop llegó bien, sin problemas.Voy a desglozar en categorías:Envío:La laptop llegó bien, en una caja grande y dentro de ella la caja de Lenovo. La caja grande llegó maltratada y algo aplastada, sin embargo protegió muy bien la caja de Lenovo que llegó sin ningún daño. Llegó un día antes de tiempo y la entrega se dió sin mayor inconveniente.Set-up:La laptop viene lista para usarse, pero no encenderá hasta que no conectes el cargador, así que no se asusten si no prende. El cargador viene incluído y también incluye una rejilla traser azúl por si no te gusta la que trae preinstalada. La laptop viene precargada con Windows 11 Home, y el setup es sencillo y auto-guiado. Se requiere una conexión a internet para poder iniciar y una cuenta de Microsoft.Software:La laptop viene con Windows 11 Home, e incluye software base de Lenovo como Lenovo Vantage (muy útil y con muchas opciones de configuración y prueba para el hardware de la laptop), Lenovo Now (No tan útil), y Lenovo Game Store, entre otros. También incluye el antivirus McAfee con una licencia de prueba de 30 días. Personalmente no soy fan de este antivirus así que lo eliminé. El sistema está bastante optimizado, el uso del procesador en idle cae hasta 1% o 0%. El único inconveniente es que está constantemente dando notificaciones de consejos para que te subscribas a diferentes planes de Lenovo entre otras cosas, lo cual no me encantó.Hardware.En mi caso opté por la versión con un i9 14900HX, y una RTX 4070. La laptop viene con una tarjeta Wi-Fi Realtek 8852CE (Funciona bien, aunque hubiera preferido una Intel), un SSD WD PC SN740 de 512GB corto (22×30) que en mis pruebas dió 5000MB/s de lectura y 4900MB/s de escritura, muy aceptable siendo PCIE GEN4x4. Dos slots populados de RAM DDR5 5600 de 16GB (lo cual se agradece por el dual channel). El display de la laptop es IPS con muy buen brillo, muy buenos colores y fluidez gracias a sus 165HZ. El teclado se siente bien y es retroiluminado con RGB. Cabe destacar que el TGP de este GPU esta a 140W, lo cual se agradece también ya que no está límitado por wattage.Conexiones:La laptop cuenta con 2 USB-C, uno con posibilidad de usarse como cargador de hasta 140W (Hay que habilitar en las opciones de la laptop el modo hybrido automático para que permita cargar por este medio), ambos conectores USB-C proveen salida DP 1.4 y soporte para G-Sync ya que van conectados directamente a la GPU. Uno de los conectores USB-C soporta transferencias de hasta 10GB/s, sin embargo ninguno de estos soporta Thunderbolt. Provee también una salida HDMI 2.1, y 3 conectores USB-A 3.0, uno de ellos que puede proveer siempre corriente en caso de necesitar cargar algo. También incluye un conector 3.5mm de audífono/micrófono, un slot para MicroSD y una entrada Ethernet. Ademas de la entrada de cargador estílo Lenovo.Temperaturas y ruido:La laptop posee diferentes presets para el control térmico, siendo estos también los que controlan los modos de energía. Siendo Silencioso, Equilibrado y Desempeño. En el modo desempeño y en sesiones de juego largas con temperaturas locales algo altas, la temperatura del GPU nunca me sobrepaso los 67 grados, sin embargo los ventiladores son bastante ruidosos. En uso normal, casi no se activan y en modo silencioso son casi inaudibles. Falta aún revisar las temperaturas del CPU.Performance:No he realizado aún benchmarks, pero si jugué Call of Duty Modern Warfare, casi todos los ajustes al máximo con RayTracing habilitado en una resolución de 1440P UW y mantuve una media de 90 FPS con minimas de 75. Excelente desempeño.Adicionales:La laptop tiene diferentes configuraciones en el software de Lenovo Vantage, lo cual por ejemplo permite seleccionar el GPU que se quiere utilizar, inclusive deshabilitando por completo el GPU discreto en caso de necesitar ahorro de energía, o, visceversa, deshabilitar el GPU integrado para únicamente usar el discreto y ganar desempeño. Puedes ajustar los patrones del teclado, los modos de energía, hacer pruebas de hardware, entre otras muchas cosas bastante útiles.Cosas que podrían mejorar:Lo único que estoy extrañando aquí es el soporte de Thunderbolt, ya que permite el uso de docks más complejos y velocidades mayores. Probé conectando un dock de Dell y funcionó sin problemas, con dos monitores conectados al mismo, el único inconveniente es que la laptop no entraba en modo de carga con el dock, por lo cual se tenía si o si que usar el cargador por el puerto de carga (que siendo realistas deberías usar, ya que los 140W de carga por el USB-C no son suficientes para utilizar el hardware al maximo ni mucho menos utilizar la GPU discreta).En cuanto a la batería, en diversas reseñas se sugiere que puede durar hasta 6 o 7 horas. Sin embargo en mis pruebas, en un preset equilibrado, alcanza únicamente entre 2 y 3 horas. Al utilizar todo en ahorro de energía y utilizando únicamente el GPU integrado, logré obtener pasado de 4 horas, pero necesito aún hacer mas pruebas, posiblemente algo me estoy saltando. Pero nuevamente, siendo honestos, muy probablemente uses la laptop conectada para poder exprimir al máximo el desempeño de los componentes.En resumen:Es una excelente laptop, el precio al que la conseguí es una ganga para el tanque que es y el hardware que tiene. Le doy 5 estrellas porque por ese precio no vas a conseguir nada mejor, ni de mejor calidad. Es una bestia de laptop y estoy muy contento con ella. Mas aún que la necesito para trabajos de ingeniería y de vez en cuando gaming. Mis únicas recomendaciones serían eliminar el software que no necesiten, instalar otro SSD (la laptop cuenta con 2 ranuras M2), e instalar Windows 11 Pro si requieren herramientas profesionales. No tengo fotos a la mano así que me tocó únicamente dar la reseña en texto. Saludos y no duden en comprarla, es un excelente equipo.

[...]This is a very solid laptop. Absolutely beautiful. However, the unit I recieved had power issues. Out of the box the battery was dead (that’s fine). Connecting it to the wall for power it took several tried to power on. On a full battery it refused to power on. After some research I did what is called a power purge. Sadly this had to be repeated several times before it would boot up completely. Then it finally stopped charging. This happened within 3 days of receiving it. I had a lot of issues trying to get it back to Amazon.com I eventually got through after speaking to 4 “human” CSRs including a supervisor.3 of the 4 refused to assist with a refund. [...]So while the price of a little over 1,400 was a little on the cheaper side for a 40 series gaming laptop (which is what I was looking for) I was a bit hesitant because going through the store page it left some things not mentioned that made me question if I could trust this seller for such a big ticket purchase.Add that there were no reviews at the time and that just increased my anxiety.But I pulled the trigger and I am glad I did.I have been putting it through its paces for about a week now and love the performance bump I get from my previous 3060 laptop.So a few things that you may be interested in.First the display runs up to 165hz which isn’t mentioned in the above page….this is more then I was willing to settle for and was happy to see it was above 120hz.It does have a second ssd slot for expansion which I added my 2tb from my old laptop….its a 2 minute install, very easy.Comes with a 4070 and a 14650hx cpu as advertised.Runs fantastic and Lenovo thankfully lets you press the gpu/cpu if your willing to do so right in there own program which lets you overclock if you want.The fan noise is perfectly in range when it is full blast and the laptop stays cool for a gaming laptop.Havent had an throttling or any issue with the way its designed.The laptop came double boxed so its not screaming to have someone walk off with it on your porch and the laptop box has an armory of foam securing and protecting it….I’m not one not to complain when I think something I purchase falls short….but for the life of me I simply haven’t had a single negative issue with this laptop as of now….everything gets a checkmark and Im not new to gaming laptops….I know in general what is considered a pro or con.I suppose if you want an aluminum chasses like my older msi stealth that could be considered a con….but that one cost me $600 more and the hard plastic chasses on this is thick and durable….the inside is what counts and this laptop does gaming justice.I have no hesitation recommending it to anyone who wants a middle top of the line current series gaming laptop….this is a great choice!

[...]I was looking for a good offer in a gaming laptop this last prime and I found this one for an incredible price to be honest. I was a little scared because it was the very first time that I ordered something like this online and some of the reviews made me feel insecure about this purchase, however I decided to trust and I ordered, now I can say that this is my best purchase ever. It has everything I want, It runs whatever game you want, the fans do their work perfectly, keeping the laptop in the perfect temperature (I was thinking of buying a cooling pad before buying the laptop just in case but this is not necessary at all, instead of that I’m buying a 2TB SSD, that’s the only thing you’re gonna need if you want to download heavy programs). The laptop looks beautiful, I love the color, the details, the screen size, also the keyboard looks beautiful with the RGB and it is really soft when you type. So basically, if you’re are looking for a top gaming laptop, I really doubt you’re gonna find something better for this price, for me it’s an absolute YES, you’re not gonna regret.
